Collecting Personal Information

It is our aim to protect customer information and to provide a safe and secure on-line system. Our on-line system is used to gather information about our customers, enabling us to provide a safe and complete on-line service.

No information will be collected from browsing our web site. Once you have registered on our website your personal details will be stored in our database so we can make your on-line purchasing in the future easier, or to provide you with prompt assistance if you should call our office for support.

Our web server uses cookies. The cookie is only used for shopping session purposes and is not used for collecting individual details. Our website has disabled it's capability of accepting an order without using cookies due to security concerns.

Use And Security Of Your Personal Information

We collect your contact information (name, address, e-mail address and phone numbers)  to process your order.

The information will be kept confidential and at no time will this information be traded, swapped, exchanged or sold to any other party or company. My Digital Home will not use this information for any other purpose than to complete a customer order, or to communicate with the customer to discuss associated problems or delays concerning their order(s)  (See use of E-Mail Addresses below).   We may share this information and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, financial institutions and the shipping carrier that delivers your order. All customer information is kept on a secure server and protected by firewall security systems.

Customers can access and update their details by logging into My Digital Home's web site. The access is achieved by using the customer's email address and the password supplied. Passwords are stored on our server using one-way encryption technology. A forgotten password can not be retrieved in its original form. A new password must be re-issued each time the customer requests a password. Customers can have the reissued password sent to them by submitting the correct E-Mail address.

Credit Card Information

My Digital Home's website does not handle ANY of the financial transactions conducted in relation to purchases done on this website.  ALL transactions are conducted at secure sites specifically designed for financial transactions, specifically PayPal and the users bank.

Therefore no credit card details are provided to or retained by My Digital Home.  Users have the ability to record their bank details along with their personal information if they wish to do so.  This information will only be used to facilitate financial transactions between our Bank and the users bank.

E-Mail Addresses

The E-Mail address you submitted during an order will be used by My Digital Home for the sole purpose of extended customer service. My Digital Home will only use your E-Mail address to communicate with you about the status of your order, cost and shipping details, changes required about your order and information directly related to My Digital Home and it's products.  Users may opt out of receiving Newsletters and Special Bulletins by logging into the website and unsubscribing at any time.
